Writing Woes Versus Writing Wonders: Increasing Writing Experiences for Adolescents
“I don’t have the time to teach writing!” “I don’t have the time to grade writing!” “How do I motivate reluctant writers?” Teachers have either experienced these woes of teaching writing or have heard teachers complain about the woes of teaching writing. How do we turn these teaching woes into wonders?

In this session, we will discuss and execute the three F’s of writing: Fluency, Form, and Focus. We will explore what role these three types of writing play in the daily classroom and how they can be incorporated in lessons without adding more work or stress on the teacher.
